Service credits that turn plans into delivered work.

Studio Pass credits are platform service credits for eligible ventures. They are not cash, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and can only be used for approved services on HBF Venture.

What Studio Pass is

When a venture is approved for Studio Pass, it receives a credit allocation set out in its individual agreement. Credits buy approved services from HBF's studio, startup providers and outside partners on the platform.

What it is not

  • Not valid forever: credits expire 2 years after they are loaded
  • Not cash, a loan, a deposit or an investment
  • Not withdrawable or transferable
  • Not usable outside the HBF platform
  • Not the same as partner perks, which never become credits

Fair pricing

Every service sits in a defined price band. Listings above their band are reviewed before booking.

How a booking works

  1. BookAn approved venture books a listed service. Credits for that booking are held.
  2. DeliverThe provider delivers the agreed scope.
  3. ConfirmThe founder confirms delivery, and held credits move to settlement.
  4. DisputeDisputed bookings stay on hold and go to mediation. Partial delivery settles against the agreed scope.
  5. CancelA cancelled booking returns its held credits to the venture.
  6. SettleConfirmed deliveries are paid out in a scheduled monthly settlement run.
